Good News - Component Manufacturing Begins

Well hello there, safety supporters!
In case you missed it, we’ve been out and about the past few weeks, organizing orders, finalizing tests, and meeting with tons of parents who are excited to get their hands on mifold. We sent out a giant update for October through our email list, and just in case you missed something important, check out what we’ve been up to:

3. We’ve been unofficially given a “Best Bet Rating” by the IIHS (this is a huge milestone for us)

INSURANCE INSTITUTE FOR HIGHWAY SAFETY (IIHS)
The IIHS has unofficially given mifold a A BEST BET rating (unofficially because mifold isn’t yet a purchasable production model). This means mifold provides good lap and shoulder belt fit for typical 4 to 8 year-olds in almost any car, minivan or SUV.

The mifold team took a trip to the ABC show in sunny Las Vegas. Check it out:

Hi, mifold fans!
We have come a long way since the beginning of the campaign, and want to thank you again for all of your early support. We are committed to providing you with regular production updates as we work to bring mifold to you. See below for our prototype scrapbook!
This month, we are finalising the last round of designs in consultation with safety experts from around the world. This is to ensure that we have the required safety certifications, as well as a design that meets each country’s standards. We’re excited to bring this to you in the coming months.
We are also getting the chance to check out other great projects that are crowdfunding. One that really impressed us was the Qliplet, a really ingenious modified carabiner with a folding, rotating hook, created by a mom and mountain climber who needed more free hands for everyday life.
The Qliplet team is offering a special deal to our backers: any backer can get two Qliplets for $25 (a $5 savings) or get a Titanium one for just $40 (a $10 savings). Tell your friends about their campaign.
All you have to do is:
1) for the 2 Qliplet deal, pre-order one for $15 then add a custom amount of $10 (if you want 4, add $35, if you want 6 add, $60 and so on)
2) for the Titanium deal, order one regular Qliplet for $15 and add $25 custom amount.
